About Enfocado Fotografia
The idea for Enfocado Fotografía was born in the spring of 2024, during our search for a new home in Spain. Coming from the Netherlands, we were accustomed to high-quality photography, 360-degree images, walkthrough videos, and floor plans as standard for every listing. However, to our surprise, we discovered that on Spain’s largest real estate website, Idealista, most listings featured only basic photos taken with mobile phones rather than professional cameras. Only high-end sellers had invested in hiring a professional photographer.
It quickly became clear that there was a significant opportunity to establish myself as a real estate photographer in a region gaining increasing attention from international buyers.
One year — and one successful relocation — later, Enfocado Fotografía officially launched, ready to serve the market with premium real estate photography.
About me
Hi, I'm Ruben, the owner and photographer behind Enfocado Fotografia. Originally from the Netherlands, I moved with my wife and two sons to the beautiful city of Gandia, along the Costa Valencia in sunny Spain, in search of a new chapter in life. After more than 20 years as an electrical engineer, I took the leap to turn my lifelong passion — photography — into a full-time profession.
Photography has been more than just a hobby for me; since 2007 it has been a way of exploring and sharing the world, with a special interest in nature and street photography. Today, I bring together the experience I’ve gained over the years to specialize in real estate and interior photography, capturing the essence and beauty of spaces with precision and creativity.
Beyond photography, I enjoy playing baseball, hiking in the scenic mountains, exploring new worlds through video games, and most importantly, spending quality time with family and friends.
